So I know there are a million dragon paintings out there and plenty are of a similar circumstance to this but, again, I saw this in a dream and had to try to paint it. I'm enjoying getting away from the photo reference painting I've been mostly doing and I've also been limiting the time I spend on each piece to get an overall feel rather than nicely rendered detail.
